Technologies Performance Livelihood
Conceptual Model (cont’d)
 Modern Technology: Modern technology is related with modern
and scientific culture and management of farm enterprise. It is a
process through which individual agricultural activities can be
improved up to certain limit to increase the efficiency of farmer’s
activity for optimum vegetable production.

 Farm Performance: It will be measured subjectively, using two

dimensions: financial and operational performance. To evaluate the
perception of financial performance level (FP), I will use three
items relative to growth in sales, incomes and profits.

 Family Livelihood: Livelihood is about the means of living. A

livelihood comprises the capabilities, assets (including both
material and social resources) and activities required for a means of
living.
