Introduction of computer
• A computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions
stored in its own memory that can accept data (input), process the data according to
specified rules, produce information (output), and store the information for future
use.

• Any kind of computers consists of hardware and software. Scientists use

technology in all their experiments…Computers are probably the biggest advance
in scientific technology.
Cryptography:

Uses of computer in Medical field:
Computers may also be used to simulate the functions of
parts of human body.

Hospital Administration:
The administration controls the hospital;

Monitoring System:
a digital watch can count your heart beat and show the
details on your screen.

Life support system:

if a patient have the problem of ear to listen someone he can
use’ hearing aid’(the device which help them to hear)
X-Rays:
Medical x-rays are used to generate images of tissues and
structures inside the body.

E-Pharmacy:
Different types of medicine names with their use of
purpose are stored in computer memory.

E-Record:
Patients history like (blood group, disease, name, address,
height)can be stored in computer.
Research center :
There are many reasons why computers are so important in scientific
research and here are some of the main reasons.
 Speed
 Collection of data
 Analysis of data
 Testing of data
 Exchange of information
 accuracy
 consistency
 Organization
Uses of computer in space:

communication:
computer is used in satellite for space communications.
Data:
used to collect space data, perform experiments and prepare
Results.

Weather:
Are used for weather forecasting

Location:
GPS satellites that are used for location and navigation purpose
Artificial Intelligence:
Artificial robot which acts and see like human being.

Body parts:
It is designed artificially the damaged body parts of human
being.
Agriculture:
There are software which help in the prediction of weather
conditions and estimation of agricultural production.

Access to information:
wealth of information that can influence business decisions

market prices, educational materials, government reports, and

weather forecast

Financial records

Autonomous Farm Equipment and Tractors:

Automated farm equipment, needless to say, scores over
human controlled equipment in terms of consistency and
reliability.
Farm Software:
ready-made computer applications are available to track
animals, storing and evaluating information such as age,
health records, milk production, offspring productivity,
and reproductive cycle status.

E-agriculture:
e-agriculture focuses on coming up with innovative ways
and best practices to use the existing information
Military science and defense technology:
Computers are used to track incoming
missiles
target to destroy them. Computers are used in tanks and
planes and ships to target enemy forces.

Missile controlling:
The target of missiles are all set by computers. they are used
to track the missiles.

GPS tracking:
The military people use computers to track other numbers and
their voice recording

Controlling of defense vehicles:

The defense people use computers in tanks and some of the
IAF planes to set targets with accuracy and many more
Use of drones:
The term “drone” usually refers to any unpiloted aircraft.
The term “drone” usually refers to any unpiloted aircraft.

Radar system:
Radar is a detection system that uses radio waves to
determine the range, of angle, or velocity objects.
Robotics:
branch of computer science and engineering.
 Operator interface.
 Mobility or locomotion
 Manipulators & Effectors
 Programming.
 Sensing & Perception
 Home electronics
 Law enforcement/military
 Mechanical engineering
 Bioengineering/healthcare
 Aerospace
 Machine learning
 Restaurants
Electronics:
deals with electrical circuits and active electrical
components such as
vacuum tubes,
transistors, diodes,
and integrated

 Electronic computer
 Drones
 Laptops
 Mobile phones & IPods
 Printers
 Smart cameras
 Microwave oven
 Games
 Grid power & solar powers
Transportation:
 Land Transportation
 Car Navigation.
 Trains
 Mapping
 Online Booking
 Auto driving vehicle

Transportation on water:
Water transportation is the intentional movement of water
over large distances.
 pipelines
 Canals
 tunnels
 Bridges

Transportation in air:
Air travel is a form of travel in vehicles such as airplanes,
jet aircraft, helicopters, hot air balloons, blimps, gliders,
hang gliders, parachutes.
Before

Agriculture:
In old days in agriculture field work was physically and
using hand made equipment this is long process and which
takes long time to complete.

 Using animals for plugging
 Seeding by hand
 Getting water out of the well by hand help of rope
 No use of pesticides on crops
 Use animal wastage as a fertilizer for growing crops
 Use organic fertilizer in fields
 Use of labor for large scale work
Transportation:
Transportation is the movement of goods and people from
one place to another. In ancient times, people crafted simple
boats out of logs, walked, rode animals and, later, devised
wheeled vehicles to move from place to place. They used
existing waterways or simple roads for transportation.

 Walking on roads
 Use of animals for transport like a horse and camel etc.
 donkey-cart
 Tango horse
 Bull cart
 Bicycle rickshaw
 Use of steam cars and engines
 Use wooden boats for waterways
 Use hand made maps on paper or wood
Medical:
 Herbals uses
 Herbal medicine is the use of plants to treat disease
 Hippocrates (old doctors / Hakeem)
 Homoeopathic
 No proper hospitality
 High risk death ratio
 No proper equipment
Artificial intelligence:
Without AI, there'd be no Wade or Google Maps to show
us where to go. There would be no Sire or Alexi to handle
our Google searches or schedule a meeting with the CIO. AI
already does a lot of the thinking for us. It's been telling us
what to do for years and we listen to it because we know it's
right.

 More human efforts
 Difficult to works
 Dangerous for machine workers
 Life risk for machine workers and drivers
 No possible self driving, mapping and voice recognized
 No possible artificial body parts
Robotics:
In old days when robots were not exist in humans life there
was so many problems in his life and they spend very
difficult hard working life.
Some examples

 More human efforts
 Hard work
 No safety of life
 Extra time for work
 Humans cant work every time
 Tiredness
 Many peoples required for companies & restaurants
 Slowly work

In olden days the electronic devices was not very useful and
advanced. Many devices was very simple in past but some
devices were not exist.

 No uses of drones
 Simple washing machines
 Simple ovens
 Use landline telephones & latters for communication
 Use radio & TV for information
 Play games in grounds no use of gaming gadgets
 Hand mapping and printing
 Typewriter
