The dabbawallas constitute a lunchbox delivery and
return system that delivers hot lunches from homes and
restaurants to people at work in India, especially in
Mumbai.

Earlier, around 5,000-odd dabbawallas ferry over 260,000 dabbas daily.


They earn quite a meagre salary of Rs. 12,000 per month
