Thirty Days Has September

Thirty days has September,
April, June, and November,
All the rest have thirty-one,
Except February which alone,
Has twenty-eight,
Leap year comes one year in four,
And adds to February one day more.
Here is another poem:
The Sun
Each day the sun comes up
And smiles on everyone.
I say to him, “Have fun!”
Then later in the afternoon
After I work and play
The sunshine goes away!
I say to him. “Thank you!”
Dear sun, for giving me
A very happy day
