System Overview - Hardware
• RML - Remote Monitoring and Log Unit
• Wi-Fi module
• Connected through CAN3 to the PLC
• Built-in HTTP server
• Flash drive to store event log (with timestamps), downloadable in Excel
format
Connect to the RML WiFi
Open WiFi and connect to
“BROMMA – SQ XX “ .
The WiFi password is ”rmlbromma”.

Open a web browser and connect to


http://192.168.0.1/

Note! The Bromma SCU preferred browser is Google


Chrome.
Check software RML
• Software information is available in Spreader Info
RML GUI

• Several top menus, each containing at least one


submenu
• Header with most important status
• Edit component parameters
• Save/reset parameters to factory default
• Check spreader status
• Check crane status
• Perform node search and change nodeID
• Fetch/View log
User level access

User level access is required to change a parameter.

Goto admin and enter the password “BRmaint2016” for


maintenace and press login.
Change parameters

Go to parameters
The parameters are grouped according to function
Enter the new value in the value field and press save
“Each parameter is saved individually"
The status field shows the feedback from the request
Perform a node scan

a) Open tab TOOLS -> NODE CONTROL


b) Press ”Start Node Scan”
The following status are available

a) Node ok – Node configured and available


b) Node is missing – Missing from network
c) The node exists but isn’t supposed to be there –
> new node
