SCOPE OF WORK
Increasing the existing potable water storage for AL QATIF with additional Storage Capacity of
222 thousand cubic meter at three different Location (Al Jaroudiyah, Sihat and Safwa) in
addition to transmission pipeline:
• Al-Jaroudiyah
o Construction new three Potable Water Reservoirs using Welded Steel Tanks with
capacity of 50,000 cubic meters each and 150,000 cubic meter total capacity
along with associated pumping facility with all auxiliary structures.
• Saihat
o Construction new two Potable Water Reservoirs using Welded Steel Tanks with
capacity of 25,000 cubic meters each and 50,000 cubic meter total capacity
along with associated pumping facility with all auxiliary structures.
• Safwa
o Construction new one Potable Water Reservoir using Welded Steel Tank with
capacity of 22,000 cubic meters along with upgrading the existing pump station.
• Main pipe line network
o Construction of main pipelines with the diameters from 250 mm up to 1400 mm
with total length of 42 Kilo meters.
