 Elderly Englishwoman, who visits India with her friend, Adela Quested.
 In contrast to other characters, Mrs. Moore shows genuine interest and
respect for Indian culture.
 Friend of Dr. Aziz and trusted him.
 When Dr. Aziz was arrested for the false accusation, she did not believe
that Dr. Aziz is guilty.
 She was sent back by her son because he knew that his mother is going
to take side of Indians instead of Adela.
 Her experiences in India challenge her preconception and lead her to
question the moral legitimacy of British colonial rule making her a
symbol of resistance against imperialism.
