The Working Duration: of Robots

Robots can work continuously for up to 4 days without stopping. This allows workers to complete their weekly economic output in only 4 days, giving them more leisure time. However, many workers have lost their jobs to robots that can perform tasks 10 times better without pay. While robots excel at repetitive, dangerous, or data-based tasks, humans have a broader range of skills. Real-life applications of robots include performing hazardous tasks, saving time on repetitive work, assisting accessibility, and providing surveillance with less human error.

The working duration of

robots.
Made by: Meerab Mukhtar 10C Date of submission: 26/4/23
Introduction
In this research we’re going to find
out the average amount of time robots
can work, we will compare the
working hours to physical labour done
my humans and find out the
applications of these types of robots
and if they’re helpful to our
environment.
Average working duration of robots
Some robots in Britain can work upto 4 days continuously. If the benefits of
rolling out such new technologies were passed on to staff, then they would be
able to generate their current weekly economic output in just four days. This
means the workers and staff have relatively more leisure time, the only downside
of this is that many workers and laborers have lost their jobs due to this, there are
robots being made that can do the job 10x better without getting paid, although
they need to be maintained. The typical British worker spends 42 hours a week at
work but produces 16% less on average than counterparts in other leading
economies which are using robots more in their daily life.
Comparison to Human labor
Before we knew it, we have cleaning robots, robot pets, and reception robots at the entrance to
restaurants. While they're not present everywhere, it's becoming normal for robots to exist in our daily
lives.
Coexistence with robots, and robot usage... Will people's lives become more comfortable and happy
with the support of robots?
Robots are rapidly replacing humans and an epitome for this is:
In sports, robots correctly reproducing the movements of top-class athletes may also be possible. When
that happens, you will be able to get first-class coaching from an early age in, for example, baseball,
soccer, swimming, or tennis.
While some people may have concerns about robots interacting with children, robots are fascinating to
the little ones. This tendency seems to be especially prevalent in Japan, China, and Korea. Some
children may find human teachers hard to talk to, but with robots you can talk freely and as such I think
they will be easily accepted.
Robots are great at performing tasks that involve processing digital data, as well as tasks that follow a
specific pattern. There is a great number of such tasks, hence the growing trend of robotisation.
However, humans have a much broader scopes of competences.
Real-life application
Safety
Robots are able to carry out tasks in hazardous environments such as the inside of a nuclear power plant
or deep underwater. They can also shield humans from dangerous situations by working alongside us,
such as flying planes or driving cars.
Time Saving
Many repetitive and arduous tasks can be carried out by robots, which means we don’t have to do them.
This can increase productivity and free up time for more critical activities.
Accessibility
Robots offer people access to things that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to do. For example, a robot
could carry heavy objects or assist someone in moving from one place to another as a wheelchair does
for those who need assistance walking.
Surveillance
Robots can be equipped with cameras to give us a view of places that would otherwise be inaccessible
or too dangerous for humans. This includes bomb disposal robots that enter hazardous situations and
gather information before experts decide how to proceed.
Less Human Errors
Robots can ensure better accuracy within the workplace, which reduces the likelihood of human error.
When robots work alongside humans, they can help reduce mistakes by carrying out critical tasks
without humans having to risk their lives.
Graphs

Robots are increasing rapidly in

population.
