Derailment at JOQ: APDJ Div
• On 18.05.2023 at 02:25 hrs, at Jorai (JOQ) Yard Siding line, during shunting of BOBYN E/S (Load-54, Loco No 12477) all wheels of
wagon no. NCR BOBYN 78132010747 (12th from SRPB end) got derailed ahead of point no. 17/17X on line no 5 (JOQ Yard Siding
line) and subsequently 17/17X point obstructed.
• Rerailment completed at 06:23.
• TC given by SSE/P Way/KAMG at 06.50 hrs
• Prima facie Cause: Uneven unloading
• REMARKS:-
• Yard-Derailment ;- At 02.25 hrs On duty SM/JOQ informed that during shunting of BOBYN rake at JOQ L/no-5 for 2nd placement
wagon no NCR BOBYN-78132010747 got derailed by all (08) wheels over point no 17/17X at KAMG end and rake stopped blocking
the UP main line at JOQ. ART/APDJ called at once at 02.25 hrs. 40 BOBYN with 01 B/V detached from the rake with Loco no-12477 ,
left from JOQ at 02.50 hrs for KAMG via wrong line which arrived at KAMG at 03.50 hrs and M/line cleared at JOQ for train
movement. ART/APDJ left from APDJ at 03.10 hrs , arrived at JOQ at 04.10 hrs, work started at 04.50 hrs, front trolley with 04
wheels re-railed at 05.25 hrs and rear trolley with 04 wheels re-railed at 06.23 hrs and the culprit wagon kept on L/no-6 at JOQ .
Power block on L/no-6 allowed since 10.30 hrs to 12.30 hrs which cleared at 12.05 hrs. ART/APDJ left from JOQ at 11.40 hrs for

found w/no. 2210138776 ECR/BOXN (34th from B/van), front suspected flat-tyre in wagon no ECR BOXN-2210138776 (34th from B/V) hence demanded for PWI & TXR Staff. SSE/PW/JPE arrived at
trolley both wheel flat tyre above 60 mm. Said wagon detached ATM at 07.55 hrs and after examine served memo at 09.40 hrs that flat found 60 mm on the wheel of the said wagon. TXR Staff ex-NCB

06- detached and sent to clear the rear portion which left from ATM at 08.28 hrs, arrived at site at 08.42 hrs, left from site with one BCN +
23 one B/V , arrived at ATM at 09.08 hrs and section cleared . At 14.25 hrs JE/C&W/NCB made fit the culprit wagon to run with normal
speed . The rear portion arrived at BYXA at 15.50 hrs , attached with front portion and train ready at 18.00 hrs , A/P ready at 18.25 hrs
and train finally left from BYXA at 18.50 hrs
