1- EXPOSITORY WRITING                           
• Expository writing, as its name implies, is writing that
exposes facts.
•  Explains and educates its readers, rather than enter-
taining or attempting to persuade them. 
Example: 
•  When you read a scholarly article, a textbook page, a
news report, or an instructional guide, you’re reading
expository writing.

droopy, and the computer screen in front of me began

4- PERSUASIVE WRITING                           
• Persuasive writing is any written work that tries to
convince the reader of the writer’s opinion.
• Persuasive writing tries to appeal to emotion along-
side factual evidence and data to support its claims.

• Public service announcements
• Critical reviews
