VERSE 5
Call them by [the names of] their ط ِعْن َد س قَأ
ُ َ ْ َ ُ ْ َ وه ْم
و ه م ِ
ه ِئا ب آِل
ُ ُْادع
fathers; it is more just in the sight
of Allah. But if you do not know اللَّ ِـه ۚ فَِإ ْن مَلْ َت ْعلَ ُموا آبَاءَ ُه ْم فَِإ ْخ َوانُ ُك ْم
their fathers - then they are [still]
your brothers in religion and those س َعلَْي ُك ْم يل

الو مو نِ ِّي

entrusted to you. And there is no َ ْ َ ْ َََ
blame upon you for that in which َأخطَْأمُتْ بِِه َولَـٰ ِك ْن َما ايم ِجناح ف
you have erred but [only for] what ْ َ ٌ َُ
your hearts intended. And ever is ت ُقلُوبُ ُك ْم ۚ َوَكا َن اللَّـهُ َغ ُف ًورا ْ َت َع َّم َد
Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

Points of Learning from Ayah 5
• Children must be identified with the names of their
REAL FATHERS. Establishing the Lineage is important!
• We are punished only for intentional sins, not the
unintended ones.

VERSE 6
The Prophet is more worthy of the ني ِم ْنَ ُ
ِالنَّيِب َأوىَل ٰ بِالْمْؤ ِمن
ْ ُّ
believers than themselves, and his
wives are their mothers. And اجهُ َُّأم َها ُت ُه ْم ۗ َوُأولُو و َأز
ْ و ۖ م ِ
ه سِ ف
ُ ن
ْ َأ
those of [blood] relationship are ُ َ َ ْ
more entitled [to inheritance] in ض يِف ٍ ض ُه ْم َْأوىَل ٰ بَِب ْع ِ
ُ ْ َ اَأْلر َح

the decree of Allah than the ْ
[other] believers and the ِاب اللَّ ِـه ِمن الْمْؤ ِمن َِك
emigrants, except that you may do ني

to your close associates a kindness
[through bequest]. That was in the ِإ ا

Points of Learning from Ayah 6
• The Prophet’s relationship with the Believers is privileged over any
other relationship. We are dear to him and he is dear to us than
anyone else!
• Obeying the Prophet (Itaa’ah) is more important than responding
to the needs of other relationships.
• HOW DEAR IS THE PROPHET TO YOU? (Each one need to think!)
• Wives of the Prophet (sal…) are the Mothers of the Believers. ُاج ه

And [mention, O Muhammad],

when We took from the prophets َ َ َ َ
their covenant and from you and

from Noah and Abraham and
Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary;

َأخ ْذنَا مْن ُه ْم ِ ِ
and We took from them a solemn
covenant. (7) That He may َ يسى ابْن َم ْرمَيَ ۖ َو َ َ ع و
question the truthful about their
truth. And He has prepared for
﴿ ميثَاقًا َغلِيظًا٧ ِ ﴾ لِيسَأ َل

the disbelievers a painful
َأع َّدو ۚ م ِ
ه ِالص ِادقِني عن ِص ْدق
punishment. (8) ََ ْ ْ َ َ َّ
يما ِ﴿ لِْل َكافِ ِرين ع َذابا َأل٨﴾
