Testing?
 What is physical fitness?
-Physical fitness Is a combination of medical fitness (Body soundness and dynamic Fitness) capacity For
action. A Physical fit Person Is free From disease and move and Effeciently.
- Physical fitness is essential to healthy growth and development. The components of physical fitness can be
grouped into two categories: SKILLS RELATED and HEALTH RELATED.
IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL FITNESS

 1. Competence in movement and motor skills in any various physical activity performance.
 2. Habitual physical activity participation to achieve and maintain good health.
 3. Understanding various movement concept, principles and tactics as they apply to the learning physical activity.
 4. Valuing physical activities for enjoyment, as part of socialization.
 5. Minimize stress response.
 6. Delay aging process.
 7. Improve posture movement and appearance by strengthening muscles muscles that support the body
 8. Improve organic function.
 9. Prevent heart ailment.
 10. Improve assessment through fitness test that support fitness and health goals.
 11. Achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical fitness.
 12. Participate regularly in lifelong physical activity.
SKILLS RELATED COMPONENTS

 1. Agility – The ability to change direction quickly.


 2. Balance- The ability to remain stable even when moving.
 3. Coordination- The ability to use vision touch and muscle sense.
 4. Power- The ability to release maximum strength.
 5. Reaction Time- The amount of time it takes to make a physical response once you see
the need to take an action.
 6. Speed- The rate at which one covers distance in a short period of time.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF EXERCISE

 1. The overload principle: To achieved benefit from exercise , the body must work
above and beyond it’s normal activity level .
 2. The progression principle: As physical abilities improve, the exercise regimen should
increase in intensity and duration. One should start slowly and apply overloud gradually.
 3. The specificity principle: Use of specific execrises to achieve specific results.
HEALTH. RELATED COMPONENTS

 1. Cardiovascular- From the word cardio means heart, the ability to exercise at an
elevated heart, the ability to exercise at an elevated heart rate for a designated time while
supplying adequate oxygen to the body.
 2. Flexibility – The ability to move joint with case through the normal Range of motion
and muscles to their fullest extent.
 3. Endurance- The ability to exercise without tiring in a long period of time
 4. Strength- The ability to exert force against resistance in a short period of time
 5. Body composition – Ideally, a state in which Body fat does not exceed 25 percent of
the total body composition.
HEALTH BENEFITS OF PHYSICAL
ACTIVITY
 1. Include a stronger heart, better circulatory function.

 2. Increased oxygen.

 3. Carrying capacity of the blood

 4. Favorable body composition

 5. Reduced levels of fat in the body.

 6. Motor-performance fitness is directly related to improved performance skills.

 7. Moderate the high levels of regular exercise

 8. Health benefits is achieved through aerobic training exercise.

 9. Health fitness is typically measured through physical fitness test.

 10. Endurance straight training uses lower resistance with more repetitions.
