present simple.

Time
When we use the present simple to talk about other people, sometimes we need
to add an ‘s’ to the verb if it is one person. This is called the third person
singular.
She plays with her children.
He feeds his dog.
If it is two or more people, this is called the third person plural. We don’t add
an ‘s’ there.
They play with their children.
They feed their dogs.

Some third person singular verbs need an ‘es’ added, or an ‘ies’.

wash > washes
study > studies
