Methodology This research study will use Non-Experimental Descriptive Correlational

Quantitative Research Design because it sought to determine the variables and the
relationship between self-compassion and academic Resilience.

Descriptive correlational design is used in research studies that aim to

provide static pictures of situations as well as establish the relationship between different
variables (Ivy Panda, 2022). Descriptive research design is a type of research design that
aims to systematically obtain information to describe a phenomenon, situation, or
population (Voxco, 2021). The goal of descriptive research is to provide a comprehensive
and accurate picture of the population or phenomenon being studied and to describe the
relationships, patterns, and trends that exist within the data (Sirisilla, 2023).
