OBJECTIVE OF THE RESEARCH

 Fear of water is the strongest predictor for no or low swimming

competencies. Therefore, it is important to identify such people and to
establish effective teaching stratergies that can best help this specific
population . Recognising this there is a need for an assessment tool which
can help swim coaches. Coaches should make the learner first comfortable
and gain trust before teaching the art to swim. Many of us don't learn
swimming just because of deep water fear.In this project we will discuss
about this fear and ways to overcome it.
