injection molding in car door

manufacturing
Krishna Maruti Limited - Plastic Division
DOOR TRIMS
Krishna Maruti Ltd – Plastic Division was incorporated in 1999 at Manesar, Haryana with equity partnership of Maruti
Udyog Ltd. and Technical Collaboration with SNIC Co. Ltd., Japan. With the continuous growth of Maruti Suzuki India
Ltd. (MSIL), a new plant was constructed in MSIL JV Park in Manesar in 2007 and a 3rd plant in Gujarat was
constructed in 2017, to serve Suzuki Motor Gujarat Plant.
The KML-Plastic division is equipped with a diversified range of technologically advanced machines as per customer’s
requirements.

door manufacturing this process plays
critical role in ensuring high quality car
door we will explode the key aspect
and benefit of this method

01
Property Of Polypropylene
1.Chemical Resistance: Polypropylene is resistant to many chemical
solvents, acids, and bases, making it suitable for applications where
exposure to various chemicals is a concern.
2.High Heat Resistance: PP has a relatively high melting point compared
to other plastics, typically ranging from 130°C to 171°C (266°F to 340°F).
This property makes it suitable for use in applications where heat
resistance is required.
3.Lightweight: Polypropylene is a lightweight material, which makes it
ideal for applications where weight reduction is desired, such as
automotive components and packaging.
4.High Impact Strength: PP exhibits high impact resistance, making it
suitable for applications where durability and toughness are important,
such as in automotive parts and storage containers.
5.Flexibility: Polypropylene is inherently flexible, allowing it to be easily
molded into various shapes and forms without breaking. This property
makes it suitable for applications such as hinges and living hinges in
packaging.
6.Low Moisture Absorption: PP has low moisture absorption properties,
which means it is less susceptible to water damage compared to some
other polymers.

Pre-Delivery Inspection

 Ensure that all necessary preparations are

completed, including clearing the delivery path
and ensuring adequate space for unloading.
 Have someone available to receive and inspect
the delivery upon arrival, checking for any
damages or discrepancies.
 Provide clear directions to the delivery location
and any specific requirements for access to the
site.
Designing of Mold

 A cavity or matrix in which a

fluid or plastic substance is
shaped into a desired finished
product
 Simply to make something into
a particular shape/Duplicate 3D
model or object
 The mold used in injection molding
typically consists of two main
components: the cavity side and the
core side.
