Latar Belakang
Setelah Rasulullah SAW wafat,umat islam mengalami masa kekosongan pemimpin yang
membuat umat islam terpecah belah dan kacau,untuk mengatasi masalah ini muncul para
pemimpin islam setelah Rasulullah SAW yang disebut Khulafah Al-rasyidin.
Siapa itu Khalifah
Khulafau Rasyidin ?
Kata al-Khulafau al-Rasyidin berarti para pengganti yang bijaksana. Pengganti
siapa ? Nabi Muhammad Saw.
Selanjutnya pemerintahan islam dipimpin oleh empat orang sahabat terdekatnya
selama 30 tahun. Terdiri dari empat Khalifah, yaitu :
1. Abu Bakar as-Shiddiq 11-13 H/632-634M
2. Umar bin Khattab 13-23 H/634-644M
3. Utsman bin Affan 23-35 H/644-656M
4. Ali bin Abi Thalib 35-40 H/656-661M
