Introduction
The job of a web developer is to design websites, make sure the function properly, ensure
they are reliable, and also ensure that they work effectively and efficiently.
They mainly focus on the overall look and design of the webpage.
There are also web developers that focus mainly of the internal structure of the webpage
itself.
There are 3 main branches of a web developer:
Front-end web developers, who focus on the visual side of the website.
Back-end web developers, who focus mainly on the internal structure of a website and the
performance.
full-stack web developers, who do both the job of a front-end web developer and a back-
end web developer.

Impact to the Technological Field
Web developers will be in higher demand in the next years as e-commerce and mobile
technology evolve.
Web developer employment is predicted to increase by as much as 27% by 2024.
Substantially faster than the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor
Statistics.
A projected 39,500 new jobs will be produced over that time. (LaBounty, 2022)
Benefits of Being a Web Developer
Certain web development occupations entail high-stress settings with demanding delivery
timelines and deadlines.
Many web developers thrive in the high pressure, however many are not able to deal with
this and it can be very frustrating for many.
Having to learn to code is another downside as the learning curve is quite steep compared
to other occupations and many give up as a result.
Personal Summary
I chose to create a booklet on web developers because I am truly interested in this career.
That this career is very useful in today’s world because of the sheer amount of people that
have access to the internet.
The more users on the internet, the higher the demand is for good looking, well performing
websites.
The higher the demand is, the more the salary increases.
Can also help sharpen your own personal problem-solving skills and increases attention to
detail.
I believe web developers play a key role in today’s modern society and the modern world
would be very different were they to not exist.

Project Proposal
With an increasing amount of users on the internet, it is imperative that there are more web
developers for not only well established businesses and organizations, but also for new
ones.
Making sure that a web page is intuitive and easy to maneuver is essential, and web
developers are experts at doing this.
With their skills and expertise, developers empower entrepreneurs and small businesses to
establish an online presence, reach new markets, and compete effectively in an
increasingly competitive landscape.
They are instrumental in shaping the digital landscape, driving economic growth, and
