What is the Digital Transformation?
•Digital transformation is the process of using digital technologies to create new or modify
existing business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business
and market requirements.
•For many enterprises that build traditional goods, this means building digital products, such
as a mobile applications or an ecommerce platform.
•IT leaders meanwhile reprioritized strategic IT roadmaps, with many adopting cloud
software for video collaboration and implementing machine learning (ML) software that
helps enterprises to manage how products wend through supply chains.

• Digital innovation refers to the processes and outcomes of using digital technology for creating

changed at any time by installing new software applications on it.

Five most important skills required for digital transformation leaders:
1. Define the meaning of digital transformation, what’s the objective, the permissible risk, desired
innovation and why the transformed state is better than the existing state.
2. Ability to call out the nonsense and dismiss corporate mythology.
3. To write, test and prove/disprove hypothesis, quickly.
4. To stay strategic while all around you are drowning in tactics.

• The practical research consists of a survey with 10 questions completed by 45 people, most of them
between 20 and 35 years old.
• The questions were formulated for the understanding if the digital transformation is a benefit or not
for the organization.
The questions had 2 types of answers:
• Single answer questions
• Multiple choice questions
Conclusion
The conclusion of this survey is that most people who work in the administrative and corporate field,
consider that digital transformation in their organization is especially important because it only brings
them benefits.
Digital transformation is a continuously evolving term. The concept of digital transformation started
out with social, mobile, analytics, and cloud but there are more “digital” technologies that are maturing
and in the near future able to transform societies and industries.
