HISTORY OF PLUMBING
Plumbing, in general, refers to bringing water into and wastewater
out of your home, but the impact plumbing has had on cleanliness
and health in our homes over the centuries is astounding germs are
easily washed away with a turn of a knob, and waste is sent out of
your home with a flick of a handle. Modern plumbing advances have
long been credited with boosting human hygiene and eliminating
contamination and disease.
Not all of the innovations that went into creating the contemporary
plumbing system were straightforward or efficient. The method has
been developed, honed, and perfected over thousands of years, and
advancements are continuously being made. This is a look at the
development of plumbing over time and how this intricate system
came to be.
Introduction to Plumbing
A plumber requires several tools for the fitting work for plumbing, fixing a
tap, or carrying out repairs. These tools help the plumber in performing
his/her work properly, and therefore it is important that the tools are used
systematically and handled carefully to avoid any damage. They should
be kept at a designated place after use. The tools can be categorized as
per the nature of work like holding tools, fitting tools, cutting tools, pipe
threading and bending tools, etc.
