This course introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of Cyber Security by discussing
the evolution of information security into cyber security, cyber security theory and the relationship of
cyber security to businesses. Students were given a detailed idea about the basic idea of computer,
computer network and the importance of Cyber security with practical knowledge. Three external
examinations(including one practical) were conducted with each paper having maximum of 100 marks.
Examinations are conducted by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
