Earth and Life Science
Earth Science is a Core Subject taken in the first
semester of Grade 11. This learning area is designed to
provide a general background for the understanding of the
Earth on a planetary scale. It presents the history of the Earth
through geologic time. It discusses the Earth’s structure and
composition, the processes that occur beneath and on the
Earth’s surface, as well as issues, concerns, and problems
pertaining to Earth’s resources.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR
We aim to create a positive and supportive environment for all
our students. If there’s any misconduct, it will be noted in the
Grade 11 ABM1 Behavior Notebook.
Our first step is always to address and resolve issues
Within the classroom, emphasizing learning and growth
together. If needed, we may involve our trusted Guidance
Counselor for extra support and guidance. We value
communication and teamwork to help students make positive
choices.

Classroom Rules
1. Respect: Treat everyone in the class with respect, including
classmates, teachers, and guest speakers.
2. Punctuality: Arrive on time to class and be prepared for
lessons.
3. Attendance: Attend all classes regularly and notify the
teacher in advance if you're unable to attend.
4. Participation: Contribute actively to class discussions and
group activities.
5. Listen attentively: Pay attention when others are speaking,
