Applying Methodology

Example: Participating in a sporting event/competition (i.e. Basketball game)

• What are some activities/steps that you do to prepare for a competition?
• Are these the same activities every time?
• How do you determine when adjustments need to be made?
• What are the benefits of using a repeatable, consistent approach?

Activity: Preparing for final exams

Think about 2 or 3 exams that you have coming up. For each exam, write down
the steps you take to help ensure you are successful. Make sure to include all
tasks associated with the exams (i.e. preparation, execution, etc…)

• Does you style differ depending on exam?

• What steps are similar?
• Why do you follow a consistent method?
