What is a Flowchart?
•Definition: A diagram
that represents a process
or workflow.

•Purpose: To visualize
steps, decisions, and flow
of a process.
Why Use Flowcharts?

•Clarify Complex Processes: Break


down complicated procedures into
understandable steps.
•Improve Communication: Share
ideas clearly with others.
•Identify Bottlenecks: Find
inefficiencies or issues in a process.
•Documentation: Provide a visual
record of processes.

connects two blocks.

4. Decision Symbol: Shows a
step that decides the next step
in a process. This is commonly a
yes/no or true/false question
