Create connectors, this helps to
organize your circuit.
• Right click, Place on
schematic, Global
connector…
• Name your
connector
• Ok
Add a Test Point, this could help you
to add an input/output or test point
in your circuit

Grab and place your components in
the workspace, inside the yellow
square.
• Here is the challenge: You should rotate (Ctrl+R) and position your components in a manner that simplifies the routing
process. The yellow lines represent the connections you need to establish, and minimizing their crossings is preferred.
• Additionally, please keep in mind that GND will be integrated into the shield and will be present throughout your entire board.
Select “Copper bottom”, then in the “Main tools”
click on the pencil so you can start routing

Here, you only need to check that
there are no islands for GND.
1 For good practices, you need to
run the DRC and netlist check.

3 • DRC: Design rule check, so it needs to follow the convention to build your
PCB.
• Connectivity check: check if every net is connected.

Once you have your PDF File, the
next step is going to the maker
space to create the PCB using the
laser engraver.
