INTRODUCTION

India has one of the largest railway network in the world and it is a
vital part of our daily life. But sometimes due to carelessness of the
people many life’s are lost there in the path of the train , so to stop
this happening we designed a special railway track which can tell the
people on the track about the arrival of the train when train is at least
1.5KM away from them and they get sufficient time to save
themselves and walk away from the track.
COMPONENTS
Arduino Uno :-

The arduino uno is an 0pen-source microcontroller board based on the microchip

ATmega328P microcontroller. The arduino uno have 13 digital pins to connect
output (LED). It have 6 analog pins to connect input (sensor) and it have a power
jack to give power to arduino and USB port to upload program.

Ultrasonic Sensors :-

Ultrasonic sensors are devices that generate or sense ultrasound energy. They can
be divided into three broad categories: transmitters, receivers and transceivers.
Transmitters convert electrical signals into ultrasound, receivers convert ultrasound
into electrical signals, and transceivers can both transmit and receive ultrasound.
Buzzer :-
A buzzer or beeper is an audio signaling device, which may be mechanical,
electromechanical, or piezoelectric. Typical uses of buzzers and beepers include alarm
devices, timers, train and confirmation of user input such as a mouse click or
keystroke.
Jumper wire :-

Jumper wire is an electrical wire, or group of them in a cable, with a connector or pin
at each end , which is normally used to interconnect the components of a breadboard
or other prototype or test circuit, internally or with other equipment or components,
without soldering.

LED Bulbs :-

This is a very basic 5mm LED with a red lens. It has a typical forward voltage of 2.0V
and a rated forward current of 20mA.
HOW DO IT WORKS

In our designed project when the train arrived in the track then the
ultrasonic sensor will sense the distance of the train and switch on
the buzzer and LED and again when the train will cross the buzzer
and LED then it will again turn off .

But when the buzzer is on the person in the track will go away from
the tack and their life will be saved.
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
ADVANTAGES

 Scram away the wild animals (like elephants, deer, bears, etc.)
from the railway track

 Warns the railway on-duty officers and labours, trespassers, and

pedestrians to move away from the railway track
DISADVANTAGES

 Creates much noise in the surrounding

 Extreme Power consumption

 High maintenance requirements

CONCLUSION

The proposed system is an enhanced technique for monitoring the

object which uses Arduino microcontroller, ultrasonic sensor, and radar
module. The radar will get the distance from the object and ultrasonic
sensor will ensure to avoid the accidents that may occur by the clash
between the train and objects.
