Site Activities
o IPC: The contractor has completed 70% one-off mobilization efforts. Payment is still awaited
2nd IPC # 2 submitted by the Contractor on 3/11/2024 and forwarded by Nespak on 06-11-2024 (OMR 301,566)
o Culvert: Survey work for location of Culvert has started .
o Contractor Material Engineer Joined the project site on 26 October 2024 has commenced work on setting up the site laboratory.
o Control points for survey: From Km 0+000 to Km 6+400 have been successfully established.
o Unclassified excavation : is currently underway between Km 0+130 ~ 1+100 and Km 2+300 ~ 4+000.
o Blasting work: First Blasting achieved from CH. 0.00 + 210 ~ 0.00 +260 . From CH 0.00+260 ~ 0.00+290 on 20 th October 2024.
and From 0+290 ~ 0+390 on 4/11/2024
o OGL :0+00~1+500 Checked and verified. Km 1+500 ~ 4+500 is in process. From Km 4+500 ~ 6+420 some area is missing and
asked to resubmit as per required 10-meter interval
o Contractor increased the number of Machinery on 1/11/24 at site included Two Dozer for removing of blast material, and two
Excavator.
o Benching and slope in Cutting work
Due to delay in Geotechnical Study report Resident Engineer conducted a meeting on 27/10/24 and 28/10/24 with Engineer
Alaa Musallam Salim Hubis from Geo- Soil Company ( Sub-contractor) with Project Coordinator Halal and Project Manager Kamal
regarding to boost the work of Cutting and blasting Procedure and suggested that the Geo company submit rock classification details
of at least one –Kilometer in a week to start the work, Engineer Alaa Musallam Salim Hubis from Geo- Soil Company after site visit
suggested for Hard rock slope 1:.5 and other will be 1.1. But Resident Engineer told that this report should be submitted officially
to design office in a week.
