Using AI Tools

for Writing
Self-assessing your writing
AI Moderating Tools
Technology is a wonderful thing! There are many tools
available to help facilitate our learning. For this writing
module you will be given various tasks to help you develop
your writing skills to achieve CEFR C1.
Once you have completed your writing tasks, use the
following suggested artificial intelligence (AI) moderating
tools to help you assess your language. Remember, the
tools only assess language and NOT content. Other than
using these AI tools, discuss your pieces of writing during the
synchronous sessions to get feedback.
Please keep in mind, that these suggested AI tools may not be 100% accurate in
its assessment of your language and should be used as a reference to inform
you of your language use.

Please share other AI tools you know of which can help moderate writing.

assess the language level of your
piece of writing and even to find out
the language level of a reading text
you are planning to use in a lesson.

Click on the task
you are answering
and type in or paste
your answer in the
box provided and
click ‘check’. You
will get feedback on
your writing in a
short while.
Remember to use any of
the AI tools suggested.

For assignment
submission, take a
screenshot / download the
analysis of your text and
upload it unto Google
Classroom to turn in.
