WHAT IT MEANS TO BEGIN WITH THE
END IN MIND:
Being with the End in Mind means starting
with a clear vision of your goal to guide your
actions and decisions.
Have a clear vision of your goal before
starting.
Helps you make better decisions.
Guides your actions towards achieving
success.
Keeps you focused on what you want to
achieve.
VISUALIZATION AND AFFIRMATION :
Visualization: Mental pictures of your desired
outcomes, values, and goals.
Affirmations: Positive statements that replace
negative self-talk, boost confidence, and reinforce
desired outcomes in line with your goals and values.
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream
a new dream”
Example:
Visualize yourself achieving a specific goal, then
repeat the affirmation "I am capable of achieving
this."
Visualization + Affirmations = Focused Mind +
Empowered Action
IDENTIFYING ROLES AND GOALS :
Roles are the parts we play in our lives.
Goals are the things we want to achieve in each role.
Example:
In life, each role has a goal: a student aims to
improve grades, a friend strives to support, and a
teacher seeks to inspire.
In short, Listing Your Main Roles, Setting a role for
each goal, Clearing Focus, Balancing, and Motivating
yourself.
STEPS
• MISSION
• VISION
• PLANNING
• ACTION
• SUCCESS
MISSION
Clarify your values, goals
and what you want to
achieve in life.
VISION
Imagine yourself
achieving your goals.
ALL THINGS ARE CREATED TWICE :
Mental Creation: It all starts with a mental
picture. We first visualize or set goals for what we
want to achieve.
Physical Creation: With a clear mental image, we
take action to make it real, turning our plans into
reality.
Why It’s Important: Mental creation directs our
actions, helping us stay focused and prepared to
achieve our goals.
BY DESIGN OR DEFAULT :
By Design or Default is the idea that we either intentionally
plan our life (by design) or let things happen without
purpose (by default).
By Design: You make conscious choices, set goals, and take
actions that lead you toward a specific outcome.
By Default: You go through life without a clear plan, letting
things happen without control or intention.
It’s about taking charge of your life rather than letting it
happen by chance.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT :
“Begin with the end in mind,” is crucial for
effective leadership and management.
Leadership: Leaders set a clear vision, inspire
teams, and ensure alignment with long-term
goals.
Management: Managers focus on using
resources efficiently, prioritizing tasks, and
executing plans to reach the final goal.
Example: In a class election, Alex (leader)
inspires with a vision to improve student life,
while Ben (manager) organizes campaign
details to achieve it.
RESCRIPTING: BECOMING YOUR OWN
FIRST CREATOR
Change Your Mindset and Habits: Shift your thoughts and daily
actions to support personal growth and a positive outlook.
Create a Better Path: Make intentional choices that align with
the future you envision for yourself, leading to greater fulfillment.
Shape Your Own Future: Take control of your life’s direction by
setting meaningful and clear goals that guide you toward success.
Example: Career Vision
To become a successful entrepreneur, create a clear vision, set
goals like building skills and networking, and make choices that
align with achieving this goal.
USING YOUR WHOLE BRAIN :
Using Your Whole Brain: Engaging both sides of your brain—logical
and creative—to maximize potential.
Better Decision-Making: Merges logical analysis with creative
insights.
Enhanced Problem-Solving: Combines practical thinking with big-
picture ideas.
Improved Communication: Connects with diverse ways of thinking.
Example: When starting a project, use logical planning (left brain) to
set clear steps and creative thinking (right brain) to find innovative ideas,
ensuring both structure and originality.
A PERSONAL & FAMILY MISSION
STATEMENT :
A personal mission statement is a brief statement about who you
want to be and what you want to accomplish in life. It keeps you
focused on your values and goals.
A family mission statement is a shared promise of the values and
goals that the family wants to live by. It helps everyone support and
understand each other.
Example: We will be a family that supports, respects, and cares for
one another. Together, we’ll face challenges, grow, and create a
happy, loving home.
