Autumn is one of the four seasons.

It is the
transition from Summer into Winter.
The weather also begins to get colder & windy
and many plants stop making food.
The weather starts to get cooler.
We start to wear long sleeved shirts, long pants,
and sweaters.
Autumn is the time when trees shed their
leaves.
The leaves change from green to red, orange,
yellow or brown before falling.

The leaves start to fall


off of the trees.
That is why autumn is
also called the fall.
In Autumn, there is less sunlight because the
days are shorter.
Animals and insects store up as much food as they
can before winter comes.

In the United States, autumn is a time when Thanksgiving
and Halloween are celebrated by many people. Also there
are a lot of activities we can do in Autumn. The school
starts in Autumn.
What is special in each autumn
month?
September:
September means it’s time again
for going off to school.
The days are getting shorter
and the nights are getting cool.
October:
October leaves are lovely,
They rustle when I run,
Sometimes I make a heap
And jump in them for fun.
November:
Now the autumn days are gone
Frost is sparkling on the lawn,
Windows winking cheerful lights
Warm the cold November nights.
