Types
of houses
There are two types of
houses.
1.Temporary houses
2.Permanent houses
Kutcha houses are made up of
wood, mud, straw ,Plastic sheets
and dry leaves.
A hut is a kutcha house.
Some people live at one place
for a very short time. They build
houses that can be moved from
one place to another. Such
houses are called temporary
houses.

CARAVAN
In the ancient times' some people
used to carry their goods on bullock
carts and camels.
They used to move from one
place to another in groups in
search of markets for their goods.
Such people were known as
nomads.
Their moving houses were called
caravans. Nowadays, a
caravan refers to a special

These houses are also
known as snow house or
snow hut.
Igloos are found in
Greenland and Arctic region

homes.

They’re houses built in trees;
some are large. Generally,
they aren’t nailed into trees;
they are built around the tree
and elevated. They obviously
look like fun houses to live
in; they’re definitely different.
Permanent house
Pucca houses are strong houses.
They are made up of wood, bricks,
cement, iron rods and steel.
Flats and bungalows are pucca
houses.
Such houses are called permanent
houses.

An apartment
building or apartment
house is a tall building
which contains different
apartments on different
floors.
They have many rooms in it and a
big lawn outside the house ,such
independent houses are called
Bungalows.
