• Internet is a network of computers linking many


different types of computers all over the world.
• It makes it possible for users to connect to one
another through telephone lines, cable lines and
satellites
HISTORY OF INTERNET

• The first were able type of internet came in the late


1960s with the creation of ARPANET, or the
Advanced Research Projects Agency Network.
• ARPANET adopted TCP/IP on January 1st , 1983
• TCP/IP stands for Transmission Control
Protocol/Internet Protocol, which is a set of
networking protocols that allows two or more
computers to communicate.
