Desktop Background
 The Desktop Background is the picture or color
you see on your computer screen when you turn it on.
 You can change the background to your favorite
photo, color, or design.

 To change it:
1-Right-click on the desktop.
2-Click Personalize.
3-Choose a picture or color.

 Example: Setting a cartoon or nature as your


background.
Screen Saver
 A Screen Saver is an animation or
moving picture that appears when you
don’t use the computer for a while.
It saves the screen and makes it look fun!
 To set a screen saver:
1- Open Settings.
2- Click Personalization → Lock Screen →
Screen Saver Settings.
3 - Choose a design and time.
 Example: Set a picture from your
computer as a sceensaver
Search Option
 The Search Option helps you find files,
apps, or settings on your computer.

 It saves time by quickly finding what you


need!
 To use it:
1- Click the Search bar at the bottom of the
screen.
2- Type the name of the file or app.
3- Click on the result to open it.
 Example: Searching for Paint or Documents.
Setting Date and Time in
Windows 10
 The Date and Time show the current day,
month, year, and time on your computer.
 To set the correct time:

1 - Click the clock at the bottom-right


corner.
2 - Click Date & Time settings.
3- Turn on Set time automatically or
change manually.
 Example: Changing the time to match your

country.
Windows Explorer (File
Explorer)
 Windows Explorer (or File Explorer) helps
you find, open, and manage files and
folders.
 It looks like a folder and stores all your
documents, pictures, and videos.
 To open it:
1- Click the yellow folder icon on the taskbar.
2 - Browse different drives (C: Drive, D:
Drive, USB, etc.)
 Example: Finding a last edited file in your drive
or saved documents.
