The Amazon forest in South America
is the largest rain forest in the world
with a huge area of up to 7,000,000
km2. It covers about 80% of the
Amazon basin, spreading across
many countries such as Peru, Brazil,
Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, ....
2. Attractions of
the Amazon forest
The abundant tree trunks in the Amazon
Fragrant Forest create a unique habitat,
attracting a large number of animals.
Birds are diverse and dangerous through
the trees, animals such as giraffes,
dolphins, foxes, crocodiles and many more

The Amazon forest, known as the "green


lungs" of the Earth, faces many serious
threats to its existence and biodiversity.
The main threats include:
1. environmental pollution
