Administrative Matters

• Subject Outline is available on Moodle

• Bring Lab Book to each tutorial

• Missed tutorial classes require an


ACADEMIC CONSIDERATION APPLICATION

– Retake missed quiz at another date


– No AC application = zero for quiz
Assessments

• Ten tutorials Quizzes (x 2%) 20%


• Lab Report 35%
• Final Exam 45%

• Other requirements:
– Attempt all assessments
– Attend at least 80% of tutorials

Expectations
 2nd year psychology students should:
 Be more independent
 Know how to use Moodle & check SOLS/email
regularly
 Be familiar with APA referencing and
formatting
 Know how to research, read and construct
reports
 Refer to APA 6 writing guides e.g. O’Shea (2015) or Findley
(2015)
 Not plagiarise (penalties do apply)
 Study and prep for this subject before class
 Approach tutors for guidance with
content/assignments if struggling

from fellow students, networking, etc.
 Not (necessarily) monitored by UoW staff
 You need to be aware of plagiarism from such
