 Introduction

Ayan Electricals is a private company about the


Transformers manufacturing and repairing processes, the company
also takes initiative in government electrical contracts. It is owned
by Mr. Kalyan Dhumal, established in a year 2021,at near
Malegaon engineering collage .

The main focus of the company is to transformer repairs,


where the main objective is to quickly recover the damaged or
faulty state transformers as early as possible by doing the quality
work.

 Expected Outcomes

• The transformer repair should be done as quick


as possible, cause in some cases the damaged
transformer is a case of disconnected supply to
an system.

• Also the repaired transformer shall meet the


standards of safety and previous ratings,it is
one of the most important things .

• The repair done sould be firm & meet the needs


of consumer. 4
 Methodology

The transformer repairing consist of various stages done in


company ,here I listed some of the stages :

1. Unloading / Gathering of damaged Transformer.


2. Separation / Unlocking all the parts.
3. Removal of burned winding &oil, storing frame and core
into the oven.
4. Inspecting the fault, damaged areas and parts.
5. Applying new winding to the damaged once.
6. Cleaning of the overall frame/body and other parts.
7. Installing new winding and gas welding the joints.
8. Refitting the structure ,renewing oil and testing.

 Conclusion
4-week Internship at Ayan Electricals had give me an
experience of industrial working. I have learnt lots of things from
this Internship. This Internship helped me to develop practical
skills. I could understand more about the definition of engineer
which helped me to prepare myself to become a good engineer in
future.

The internship helped me to clear concepts about the


transformer operation, its detailed information about actual
industry oriented manufacturing and repairing is done to an
transformer . I got motivated to pursuit for knowledge of electrical
engineering due to this training. Overall, my internship at Ayan
Electricals has been successful.
