TROUBLES & REMEDIES
DEAD SET or NO POWER
Possible cause of troubles:
• Check AC line cord
• Fuse
• Check PWM Circuit
• Main filter capacitor
• Bridge diodes
• Might be an open resistors or change value
• Intermittent or cold solder
• Open Opto-coupler
• Check transformer
PWM CIRCUIT (PULSE WIDTH
MODULATION
NO AUDIO
Might be an open coil of the speaker, defective audio IC
• Check the speakers
• Check supply voltage of the audio circuits/part
• Check remote if muted

REMEDIES:
• Check and replace the defective parts such as speakers or electronic components
With Audio but no display or image in
the screen
Must be a cause of BL –Back Light driver or Inverter, LED Backlight
inverter
• Check backlight driver/inverter section
• Check supply of backlight
• Check backlight
REMEDIES:
• Check and replace the defective components such as back light driver
if defective or LED BACK LIGHT STRIP
Cannot received any RF signals
from TV network/no reception
This might be a cause of tuner, absence of supply to tuner, a fault or
loose connection to antenna.
• Check supply voltage
• Check connections if loose contact
• Check solder connection if loose contact

REMEDIES:
• Re-solder
• Replace defective components
Stripe line on screen
This might be a fault in LCD or in T-con or the LVDS Connector
• Check T-con Supply
• Check the connections

REMEDIES:
• Replace the defective components such as T-con module
HALF IMAGE/NO IMAGE
Might be missing of some voltage reference in timing control board
• Check T-con input Supply (12V)
• Check the connections
• Check Vin of boost circuit
• Check VGH and VGL supply voltage if present
• Check flex cables
• Check VGHF 33V
• Check VCOML and VCOMR
• Check VCOMLFB and VCOMRFB
