TOS Presentation

The document outlines the process for creating a Table of Specifications (TOS) for a mathematics curriculum based on the K to 12 Curriculum Guide. It includes steps for allocating hours and percentages to learning objectives, determining the number of test items, and categorizing items according to Bloom's Taxonomy. The document also provides a sample TOS with specific learning competencies and their corresponding test items and weight percentages.

2. Create a TOS following the standard format below.

3. The TOS requires some simple mathematical computation that

will result to proportional allocation of test per topic
1. Secure a copy of K to 12 Curriculum Guide.
2. Copy the learning competencies allotted for each grading
period in the table of specification (TOS).
3. Allocate the number of hours needed in each learning
objectives and the percentage using the formula:

𝑛𝑜 . 𝑜𝑓 h𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑒𝑎𝑐h 𝑜𝑏𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠

%= ×100
𝑡𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑛𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 h𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠

4. Determine the number of item using the formula:

No. of Items = Total number of Items

No. of Items = 40
5. Determine the number of items in remembering,
understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating by
using this formula:
No. of items
6
6. Placement of test items depends on what is require.
