National Mathematics Program (NMP)
• Prioritizing on building foundational skills
and improving learning outcomes, aims to
strategically support and accelerate learning
progress on the mathematical fundamental
skills and numeracy among key stage 1-3
learners.
National Mathematics Program (NMP)
• NMP aims to provide intensive, explicit,
and learner-centered instruction
aligned with the curriculum supported with
assessment and learning resources.
Implementation Guidelines of BOSY-NMP
Rapid Mathematics Assessment
• The BOSY-NMP begins with a rapid assessment
phase for all learners in Grades 1-10.
• RMA refers to the set of carefully crafted
assessment tasks aligned with the curriculum that
aims to identify the strengths and recognize the
current mathematical knowledge and skills of key
stages 1-3.

• The RMA assessment will be conducted a week
after the opening of classes

Funds for the Reproduction of the RMA Materials
Funds will be downloaded to schools for the printing of the
materials 1:1 ratio of materials to the learners

Monitoring and Evaluation
• PSDS and EPS will monitor the administration of the RMA
• Ensure that all Math teachers in Grades 1-6 are trained before
the administration
• Ensure that all learners have 1:1 copy of the materials
• Submission of the results
• Dashboard on the submission is closely monitored in the
Division, Region and Central Office
