Objectives Of 5M+ ECODES

 Provide basic digital literacy training to 5 million Ethiopian youth by 2026

 Ensure at least 50% of trainees are young women

 Equip youth from all regions, with focus on rural areas

 Partner with schools, TVET institutes and other centers to integrate training into curriculums

 Foster youth creativity, problem-solving and innovation through digital skills application

 Build a sustainable, large-scale program via multi-stakeholder collaboration


Courses Provided with Free

 Ethiopian learners will have the opportunity to gain foundational level skills across three domains:

Programming Fundamentals,

 Data Science Fundamentals and

 Android Developer Fundamentals.

 Learners will be supported by mentors who will support them on a

dedicated Community Platform to unblock technical questions on a

daily basis throughout the 6-7 week course.

 Upon successful course completion, learners will be awarded with

skill-based certifications.
