Terms of reference of the Committee:


The terms of reference of the Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee are as under:

I. To advise SEBI on issues related to the further development of the alternative investment and start-up ecosystem in India.

II. To advise SEBI on any hurdles that might hinder the development of the alternative investment industry under its purview.

III. To advise SEBI on any market practice in the nature of abuse/misuse or any market development, which requires regulatory intervention or attention.

IV. To advise SEBI on any issues which need to be taken up with other regulators for development of the alternative investment industry.

V. Any other item relevant to alternative investment industry and development of the start-up ecosystem in India.
