I am a fifth year PhD student at Yale University in Sociology with a background in Middle Eastern Studies. I am looking for a job that involves research, writing, and presentations regarding foreign policy and political developments in the region. I enjoy analyzing a large amount of data, summarizing it in a clear, concise form, and adding my thoughts on the subject. My PhD focuses on the 19th century Ottoman reform movement known as the Tanzimat. Specifically I look at the Ottoman constitution of 1876 and the Ottoman Parliament of 1877.
