I received my Doctor degree in Production Engineering in 1999 from the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC. As part of my doctored, I worked at the Industrial Engineering Department of the University of South Florida - USF/USA (1997/1998). I received his M.Sc. (1993) and B.Sc. (1990) in Computer Science, both at UFSC. I have been working as a professor at Universidade do Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI since 1993, where I coordinate the Software Quality and Productivity Laboratory - LQPS, teaching and advising in both undergraduate (Computer Science) and graduate courses (Master in Applied Computer Science and Specialization in Quality and Software Engineering).
