Dr. Padmanabhan Krishnan took his M.Sc [Engg] and PhD [Engg] in the field of fibre reinforced composites from the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in the years 1991 and 1995, respectively with distinction. Prior to that he had his work experience in the area of High Tc Ceramic Superconductors and Silicon Semiconductors.
