Nature of engagement: - The engagement is purely on contract (except posts on
deputation) which will be initially for a period of one year. Extension can be considered,
based on performance and requirement of the Institute.
Age: Should not be more than 65 years (except for posts mentioned against serial no.
16,17& 18) by the time of applying to the positions. However, for the candidates applying
on deputation, normal terms and conditions of deputation as issued by the Government
of India time to time.
For Posts mentioned against serial no 16 & 17, the maximum age limit is 40 years only
For posts mentioned against serial no. 18, the maximum age limit is 35 only
All the positions (except posts on deputation) offered are on contract in project
mode and does not envisage any form of regular appointment at NIRD in future.
