University Leiden 2015 – 2020 • Sharing and collaboration are keywords in today’s academic practice. The arrival of open access and open data means that the sharing of research data and results and collaboration in collecting, analysing and publishing them are becoming increasingly important. • Leiden University wants to make it easier for academics to share information and to collaborate by providing state-of-the-art ICT support and infrastructure to facilitate Data Science. • The University is therefore setting up a Centre for Digital Scholarship at the University Libraries Leiden, that will provide services to researchers and students in the use of new technology, including in terms of digital research methods, open access, data management and social networking.
