- 3. 3 EXAMPLES THAT ARE SIMPLE TO RE- CREATE I feel that these three examples are all easy to re-create. This is because they are all simple with no complex elements included. They’re not technical from an art perspective however they are successful in the fact that they represent the theme/what the album is about. I feel that the album on the right is the most successful and similar as to what id like to achieve because he is alone and my video/song is about a relationship and how they are alone.
- 4. FIRST EXAMPLE: DAVID GUETTA – ONE LOVE White font – straight/plain lines. Stands out from rest of album Graffiti like font for title of album. Different colour to name of artist Text situated in the free space that there is because of the composition of Guetta Very bright picture and contrasts with the black/white edit. Can see the reflection of the light from the glasses Not directly looking at the camera. Has a hunchback and is bending down to allow the camera to fit his head and top body in the shot
- 5. SECOND EXAMPLE: CALVIN HARRIS - SUMMER White font colour – basic font used for both artist name and title of album Large size font to fill the width of the album. Writing across Calvin’s face Centre composition for Calvin Harris. Upper body to top of head. Good amount of head space, similar to our music video. Colourful background – white, yellow, green. Summer colours hence the name Normal facial expression. Looking slightly confused?
- 6. THIRD EXAMPLE: ALESSO - FOREVER Same font for both artist name and title of album. Same font size and shade of white Artist has included their own logo below the title of the album. Many EDM artists include this and can be a suggestion for me to include Centre composition for the artist. Artists body is slightly to an angle however his head is facing the camera. Black and white album cover, very similar to the first example I analysed. Black background which contrasts with the white face and titles No props used. Very basic example of which I can easily create with a good amount of planning and camera composition
