- 2. Induction Lighting 101 The basic technology for induction lamps is not new. The principle of Induction was introduced to the world by the scientist Nicola TESLA in the 1890's. - 3. Induction lighting is dimmable and can be used with motion sensors Induction can be dimmed two ways Remote control or wired for large areas. Dimming range is 100% to 50% on all Induction fixtures. The receiver circuit can memorize the last setting before then lights is turned off and will recall the last setting upon re-striking. Wireless remote control system consist of three parts: a remote control (signal Transmitter), a signal control receiver to receive and store commands and a dimming executing unit. If the remote address code of the induction fixture is present with the remote unit during the manufacturing process, the remote unit can only control the dedicated fixture. If all the fixtures are present with the same remote unit at manu- facture, then the remote unit can control multiple fixtures. The total number of units that can be controlled is determined by dis- tance to the transmitter to 30 meters or 98 feet. Hard wired control system: If a dimming control system is desired for a large area, such as a office lobby a hard wired system is needed. One control can manage 20 hard wired fixtures. Induction lighting can be controlled by Motion Sensor two ways: step dimming or motion sensor ON/OFF : Induction lighting is automatically turned on whenever movement is detected and will turn off after a preset time period. The delay can be pre set by the customer’s request. Step Dimming: the induction fixture reaches full light output whenever movement is detected by the motion sensor when the induction lamp is dimmed. The dimming range and time delays can be preset according to the customers requirements. Innovative Induction Lighting, LLC Terms and Conditions of 10 year limited warranty Innovative Induction Lighting Induction Lighting warrants that our fixtures, ballasts, and lamps will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years or 60,000 hours (whichever comes first) from date of installation or date of manufacture if installation date is unknown. Ballasts, lamps, and fixtures demonstrated to be defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced at Innovative Induction Lighting discretion, at no cost provided the fixtures are installed and operated in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. This warranty applies only to the original purchase for fixtures used within the US, Canada, or other countries as specified by Innovative Induction Lighting Induction Lighting. The warranty is non-transferable. Innovative Induction Lighting reserves the right to examine all failed induction lighting systems and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any housing, lamp and/or ballast is de- fective and covered under this warranty. Innovative Induction Lighting Induction Lighting will not be liable for: • Problems resulting from external causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, negli- gence, fire, water damage, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster, or other external causes unrelated to product performance. • Products for which Innovative Induction Lighting has not yet received full payment. • Conditions demonstrating misuse, faulty installation, misapplication, extreme environmental conditions beyond those defined in the product specification, under/over voltage situations, lack of compliance with applicable instructions, improper or inadequate maintenance, negligence, acci- dent, or tampering. Note ballast ratings for limits on operating temperatures. • Situations in which Innovative Induction Lighting lamps and/or ballasts are replaced with those from other manufacturers. • Products not manufactured by Innovative Induction Lighting, this includes sensors and/or additional controls. • Costs for shipping.
