Dr. Martin Schreiber, M.D. is a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University. He has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, serving as Chief of Surgery and Trauma at combat support hospitals and as Director of the Joint Theater Trauma System. In civilian medicine, he was Professor of Surgery and Director of the Donald D. Trunkey Center at Oregon Health & Science University. A leading trauma researcher with over 600 publications, his work focuses on brain injury, hemorrhage control, and blood product development.
