    from which his copy emanates.
   The journalist must guarantee the bonafides of his
    clients.
   Should not create ‘Stunts’ for publicity.
   Should deal in his publicity copy only with fact &
    must not comment.
   Remuneration must be by professional fee.
 A news conference or press conference
 is a media event in which newsmakers
 invites journalists to hear them speak
 and , most often , ask question

 News Reporting is an Art and requires Creative &
 Innovative thinking.

 News Reporting should provide detailed
 information to the Viewers & Readers and should
 be thought provoking.

An Article means a piece
of writing in a Newspaper
or Magazine.
Features of good Articles :
 A leading article is a type of non-news articles.
Article should be comprehensive & give background
information.
Author should have thorough grip on the subject.
Feature writings should be exclusive to one newspaper.
The information should be Factual
Factory visit programme is likely to be based on
    following pattern :
    A welcome by Senior Executive.
   A short introductory talk about firm.
   A short tour of the plant & explaining manufacturing
    process which is newsworthy.
   At the end of the tour an opportunity should be given
    to question executives & production experts. And
    correspondents should have the chance to talk
    informally to executives & develop individual themes.
Letters to the editor can be grouped into Three
  categories :
 Letters that comment on a topic of private or public
  concern.

 Continue an existing correspondence.


 Complain about a previously published item in the
 paper.
 The Press Information Bureau gives news &
  photographs of the activities of the government of
  India to the Indian press and foreign press
  correspondents stationed in India.
 The Bureau act as a link between the government and
  the public through the press.
 Services of Bureau are made available in maximum
  number of language including English & Hindi.
 Bureau also provides press liaison services for official
  meetings & functions and international conferences.
